Again, July 3rd. It was a fun evening. My son wanted to pose as every boy does, for an action shot. However, the expression on his face on this one I particularly like. And he is standing there, almost contemplative illuminated against the darkness ....

I just liked it.

These are great images. That light shining in the darkness... the meaning and expression here is two fold. The literal interpretation of a boy with a sparkler illuminating the dark and the figurative: Children are our lights in the darkness. Our future. And our own children bring light into our lives. You are a gifted woman.
